Gecko Hideaway is located to the north of Chiang Mai city in the village area of Luang Neua, Doi Saket.
Situated between several small villages, surrounded by rice paddies, livestock and market gardens with views of the mountains nearby. It is in a safe, quiet, low traffic area, with small markets, restaurants and cafes dotted around.
House & Garden
Gecko Hideaway is a two storey home, which can comfortably sleep 6 guests, located on a quiet no-through road, set in a lush jungle garden overlooking a creek and rice paddy.
There are 2 main bedrooms with king size beds and 2 bathrooms. A third room can be used as a study/retreat or additional bedroom with a double bed or two single beds. The upstairs lounge could potentially sleep 3 more guests.
The house décor style is Asian tropical, including furnishings from natural materials such as teak, rattan, bamboo, Thai silk and linen, with modern touches and art/objects collected from travels around the world.
To take full advantage of the tropical environment, the house maximises outdoor space and nature, with several spacious outdoor living areas with fans including an open air kitchen.
All internal rooms have air conditioning and ceiling fans.
High-speed broadband internet covering the whole house, good mobile reception with 4G.
There is a small gym with a treadmill, handweights and two yoga mats.
There is under-cover parking for 1 large or 2 small vehicles or motorbikes.
The garden is tropical jungle with a large lychee tree as a central feature, with outdoor seating and a small Thai spirit house.
